Experience
I spent my summer working at Nextjump as a software engineer. I worked on and took ownership of many large-scale projects, which were rolled out to millions of users. I primarily worked in PHP & Javascript, and wrote a lot of SQL.
I also learnt a lot about workplace culture, running the London office's Adopt-a-School project.

I was a tutor of Computing and Mathematics for A Level students alongside my studies. Through doing this, I gained a lot of insight into different teaching styles and how to keep younger students engaged and interested.
I participated in Facebook's Hack-a-Project scheme in 2018, where I was put in a group with 2 other Computing students, and we had to create a project with the aim of "Bringing Communities Together". I learnt lots of new technologies, including React, MongoDB, NodeJS and Docker, which I have used in more projects since.
